Alzheimer/Dementia Communities Perhaps the most challenging of experiences for  families is the care and placement of their loved  one with Alzheimers/Dementia. As Alzheimer  sufferers often spend much of their time walking,  a roomy facility designed to accommodate these  needs should be a consideration. This helps  eliminate the sense of confinement. Providing a  safe space for your loved one, is our primary  goal. As in placement with other kinds of facilities  these communities require a special waiver from  community care licensing in order to accept a  patient with cognitive issues.    These communities offer a lot of the same  general and personal services that board and  care and assisted living homes provide.
